I'm going to be in New England for the holidays. Are there any head boats that will be running that time of year? If so what is their home port and name?

New England is about five states big. More details would be good. It can also be darn cold out on the Atlantic that time of year!

If your near the Cape i could round up some stripers from shore. Theyre small around Thanksgiving, but its fishin. if you want to bring home some meat however the party boat is the way to go. Ill look into it for ya, i know some boats head south for the winter.
Tight lines...
P.S. Love the Roosevelt quote, Im a big fan of him and his legacy of conservation. Heres one my favorite quotes; Pain is only temporary, but glory is forever." Evil Kneivel.
Im at a jobsite in Provincetown, Mass. I sell building materials. Stop at Race Pt. beach (very tip of Cape Cod,Ma.) I see a Ford Taurus wagon with kayak (drag)tracks through the sand. With binoculars i cant find him, and i can see 180 degrees to the horizon. Hes nowhere to be seen. Call the Coast Guard? Its Nov. 5. Ocean temp is 50 degrees. This am on the cover of Cape Cod Times stands a guy from Chicago with a 157 lb Bluefin Tuna!!!!!! Same dude. Fought for 3 hrs. and 1 hr paddle back. Thats insane.
