Taking the wife and kids on vacation there for a week in late June. How is the fishing in that area? What should I know?

Only saltwater fishing I've done is from a dock on Lake Pontchartrain in LA when I was working down there last summer.

There is some fairly good small mouth bass fishing north a bit in the Penobscot river.....not salt water but it's fishing!
