I've got a wedding to go to in Virginia Beach in November. What the offshore fishing like in mid November? I'm thinking of getting a charter and doing some off shore fishing. Are the strippers running then? Or is bottom fishing the way to go. I'm guessing a group of 10 will go out.

If you get in to a bunch of strippers, I'd stay away from the bottom. Probably not gonna eat too good

Looked into Virgina Beach after wife's friend moved there, and was getting real excited about the prospect of going after cobia there. While the cobia bite will have tailed off by the time you get there, may be worth a shot - good eats.

Full moon in Oct till full moon in Nov is usually the best time of the year in Va. to fish the bay and off shore. Should be trout and stripers around the rocks at the tunnels in the bay bridge and flounder in the bay still some offshore action with blues in the inlet and dolphin and a few tuna showing up in deeper water !!! go wild have fun !!!!
