Off and on water skier.
When my daughter learned to ski at about 6 or 7 she fell the first time right after she got up. The second try, off she went and didn’t fall for the rest of the day. 😊

lots of Chilenos, Peruenos and Argentinians swinging chairs these days.

Silicon Valley types also... (skiing, not swinging chairs...)

Began water skiing in 1953. Skiied many of the Adirondack lakes, the St Lawrence River, and some lakes in Quebec. Cranberry Lake in the North West Corner of the Adirondacks was my favorite lake to ski. Sure did love that run from Wanakena down to the Cranberry Lake dam then up to the Campsite and back to Wanakena. That was about a 20-mile ski. I'm approaching 84 years and find that a Hoola Popper is about all that I'm interested in skiing across a beautiful lake surface.

All of the above and some snow shoeing also. Prefer Cross Country. Not steep hairy stuff, just wondering in the woods in the winter. One of my favorite trips is to Redfish Lake in the winter. Summer this place is an ant hill, winter you can have it to yourself.
