Thought I would share below…

Midway has blemished bullets that appear to be:
.375 CAL 200 GR. FN PRO-HUNTER bullets @ $22.39 /50cnt in stock. Purchased 200cnt w/ free shipping (Promo w/ $79 purchase )
Copper wash color differ on some but appear to be good to go. Out of 200 found a total of 4 w/out a cannelure, not a big deal since using Lee Factory Crimp…
OAL looks like Les Volmer. 220gr with thinner profile, so can basically seat the same.
Not a bad deal for $89.56 for 200 count…

Midway listed as:

Factory Second Bullets 375 Caliber (375 Diameter) 200 Grain Flat Nose Box of 50 (Bulk Packaged)

Product #: 163389
Manufacturer #: 668953

Our Price:
$31.99$22.39
($0.45 per bullet)
You Save: $9.60

Go burn powder and have some fun !

Yep,
A healthy dose of AA-1680 with the Sierra 200 gr bullet would definitely put a smile on your face and a dead critter to boot …

I like 1680 in my 375 Win mod 94 with those bullets.

I prefer classic.

I have bought them in the past. They shot great and ditto on the 1680. The only thing that I could find wrong with them was some had no or very faint connalures.

Agree wish all,
Personally I think Les Vollmer’s projectiles are good bang for the buck. Few months back, purchased his 220 & 255gr bullets. Stuffed a mid size USPS box full up.
His copper jackets allow for good bore / barrel expansion without having to go with a larger diameter than .375 (Les will size up anything you want too).
That said, also agreeable with Hawk’s .376 / .377, dancing with a Buffalo Bore load…
Plenty of options out there.
Factory loads have been throttled back for decades and only way to get an honest velocity/ft lb. ratio is to reload or get Buffalo Bore loads… Pretty sure Winchester isn’t going to make any meaningful supplies especially at an affordable price.
Bought the blemished to play with different powders, been a while since experimenting hat has been on.
Exercise your mind but know your limits!

On a recommendation from a member here, I tried the 230gr CEBs, haven't looked back since. Turned my Marlin into a 1" shooter and it HAMMERS hogs.

A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…” Yes I did get the COVTARD jab...

Appears to be a wicked projectile , did a quick search and found at Graff & Sons. At a $1.6 per would definitely be reserved for hogs…
Appreciate the info and going to cogitate on this.
Always good to have options!
Below is what G&S listed (Had to educate myself a bit)

.375 230gr CEB
Product Information
Enhanced System Projectile designed to be shot as a hollow point without the Raptor Tip™, a hollow point with the supplied Raptor Tip™ installed for long range shooting, or flipped around and shot as a solid for extreme penetration. Excellent lever gun bullets without the tip installed and are designed to magazine feed in any bolt action rifle with the tip installed.

Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a star pattern while the base contines through for even deeper penetration. A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended. The required twist rate for these bullets is 1:12" or faster.

*These bullets come supplied with optional Raptor Tips™*

Any of you guys have a photo of Sierra’s load data for the 375 Win and the 200 gr. Bullet? If so, I would be most grateful if you could share. 38-55 too.

Thanks Mick, I really appreciate the info. My lovely wife bought me an as new M94 375 for my birthday and I haven’t even fired it yet. I have RE7 and IMR 4198 already. Starline hooked me up with the brass. Just need the bullets to show up and I’m off to the races.

1680 is the powder for the .375W---It will give you 100fps plus over published data from Sierra. Look at the Latest Hornady Manual!

I only see data for their now discontinued 220 gr bullet. That doesn’t help me with the 200 gr sierra slugs. The Sierra data above doesn’t include 1680. Do you show something different?

Use the 220 gr. data and work up a couple of grains.

Take Hipshoot’s advice, you won’t regret it. Even if you are using Starline 38-55 brass. Sierras need an honest 2200fps to perform as a hunting round as do other projectiles…

Ben,
On another note, powder you listed as having will work too…
Just gotta get the velocity correct…
Experiment and use what you have to do the job.
Been skinny times when I had to use what I had ; Varget, Win748, BL-C(2) are just a few off hand…

The local shop had some 1680 the other day. I’m out of town for the weekend but will stop by on Monday and pick up a couple of lbs. Midway should be delivering the bullets next week too

And now to add to your shopping experience, got notification on below yesterday. Might as well stir the pot a bit…
Have used these and do a good job on larger critters but really interested in the 230gr CEBs as suggested above by jorgeI…

Just did some checking---Hornady manual 9th Edition list a max load of 1680 with their 220 gr. bullet as 41,2 gr. for 2300 fps. 0uta a 20" Win.BB.

I have a Marlin .375 and my notes say 40gr. AA1680 with the 200 gr. Sierra---2340 fps. avg. vel. 2432 ft/lbs.

38gr. AA 1680---2216 fps. 2399 ft. lbs. 220gr. Hornady.

40gr. AA1680---2350 fps. 2698 ft. lbs. 220gr. Hornady.

Load Vel. from A MegnetoSpeed

That .375WIN-----NOTHING TO SNEER AT!

P.S.. MY LOAD DATA---YOYO! (YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN) !
