A dealer friend of mine showed me a very nice Cooper 36 that he's had "in the back" for a long time last night.
Very nice walnut, heavy tapered barrel, Leupold 2-7 rimfire. Mint but no box etc. Possibly unfired.
He didn't exactly say that it was for sale but it may be.

I'm wondering about its current value, just in case he decides to sell it.

And any info on the model. I know that they are a discontinued model, and if I remember right they had mechanical problems.
Also, does anyone truly know what barrels Cooper used?

Thanks in advance

Go to rimfirecentral.com and post your question on the Cooper forum and you will get some responses.

I believe the Cooper m36 was Dan Coopers first repeater design back in the early 1990s
It was plagued with function issues and replaced with the m57.

My advice would be to keep your money in your pocket and enjoy your custom 10/22 sporter and CZ..:)

I was a Dealer 4 Cooper when they 1st introduced the Model 36 and the Issues they had were few and far between-- I used 1 for "Bottle Cap" $$$ matches along with 2 friends and at one time we won 14 weeks CONSECUTIVELY.

As far as value with nice wood =which they ALL had - $ 1200=1500.

Good Luck

Jim
