I quit working on ALL Savages as of this year.
I never started.. (as far as rebarrel/rechamber etc..)..

??????????? I gotta ask, why not? What's magical (or spiteful) about working on a Savage 99? No different than any other lever action, and easier than most. That's like someone saying "I won't work on cars, only trucks."

My issue with modern Savage firearms stem mainly from design elements I just don't agree with.
"Hired Gun" Quickest and fastest all motor sand car on the planet. 3.008 at 104.8 300' of sand.

Gotcha. I gotta remember that in this day and age most folks are referring to 110's and all their iterations when they say Savage, when my mind automatically thinks 99.
