You boys better just hope it's ownership and not possession.
The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.

Just because a choice is better than the alternative in no way makes that choice a good one.

Whatever gets passed will get passed, the Liberals will feel good, and then next year or the year after some nut job will shoot up another school or concert and we’ll be right back in the same debate.

Even worse, now that we've given ground on this one, they know we will the next time. And the time after. Of course, next time it won't be age limits and silly bumpstocks, it will be private transfers and Licensure. The time after that, registration and confiscation.... Just the scary ones, though.

Nothing I've heard proposed would do a thing prevent mass murders like the one in Florida. It's just "feel good" bullshit. Even if you could prevent these psychos from getting a gun, they'd just use a car, uhaul truck, machette, sword, IED, or whatever other weapon they can get their hands on to do the deed. Securing the favorite targets like schools and churches would be much more effective, if the goal is to protect them. But we all know, the true goal of the gun control push is disarming the populous.
In my book, if you're old enough to give up your life in defense of your country, you're old enough to buy/own a gun. But then again I say the same thing about voting and buying alcohol.
”Those who would give up liberty for security, deserve neither.” Ben Franklin
