Did you ever notice folks that brag about such things are always related to royalty, a famous warrior, or talent? They never talk about their horse thief ancestor or the one hanged for murder.
Actually, I do have convicts and other assorted riffraff in my family line, I also have an ancestor by the name of Sgt Major William Wallace that fought for the British in India, apparently he won a military pension in a time prior to the awarding of such...so I figure my despising Indians is not my fault, it is genetic.
ps and what ever he did cannot be that special as he left quite a few alive.
