I am still of the opinion that, if you cannot buy a gun until you are grown up enough at 21, you are not anywhere near grown up enough to vote. I also think we need to go back to the original standard of being a landholder to vote. Not enough people have skin in the game by paying taxes to realize what their vote means. Some that pay taxes do not care. Anyone for a brief test at the poll of who are the candidates and what is their platform before you get a ballot?

It was only a few months back in the news, that the young adults were saying they didn't feel they were ready for adulthood until the age of 30.
They wanted to live at home, be on the parents medical insurance, car insurance, etc. Incapable of living independently, and paying their own way.
Now all of a sudden some loon in congress thinks 16 year old's are ready to vote?
No doubt voting teenagers they would line up for all the 'free sh.it' the dem/commies would offer them in exchange for their vote.
