Honestly, it's one of those things that matters a ton when you start shooting prone and start connecting dots.

Don't knock it til you try it.

And I do not mean that in a bad way fwiw despite you riding bicycles.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

PB, I was at a friends house a few years ago and we were shooting .22 lr's. A fellow I didn't know showed up and had a 10/22 he had built. Had one of the carbon barrels on it and it was a shooter. My friend has a high-end Cooper that is a tack driver and this 10/22 shot right there with it all afternoon. They were both using expensive match ammo. It might have been a fluke, but that rifle was accurate at 50 yds.

The only other carbon barrel I I was around was on a 260 Rem. It was fair, at best.

50-50 I guess. smile

I held one at SCI, and wasn’t impressed with fit or feel of it whatsoever- that doesn’t mean they won’t shoot.

A couple more options are the Ruger Precision 22lr and Bergara B14R which comes in a regular "trainer" version or a really nice looking carbon-fiber version too!

Another really interesting option from Volquartsen is the Summit push-pull lever!

Not the greatest review. Accuracy sucked but then so did the ammo and possibly the shooter, especially since he didn't use decent ammo in a "precision" rifle. I think the only thing precision about it is likely it's looks.
