what is a good action to convert over to 6mm ppc?

If I had to choose one for myself, I'd be perfectly satisfied with either a Hall falling-block or a Nesika bolt action. My latest and ultimate varmint rifle is a .220 Howell on a Nesika action. I don't know of anything better. If I had to choose something less expensive, I don't know what I'd plop-down the bucks for. Your question omits one important deciding factor -- what you want the rifle for -- which bears heavily on whether you'd be better off with a single-shot or a repeater.

I like single shot rifles... no problem there. And for the sake of conversation lets not put money in the way. LOL..... wish it were really like that. But I can dream and plan. I would like to build a rifle that I could take to a bench rest competition and not be embarassed.

Those Nesika actions are some great eye candy ... thank you ... the price will set my time back a little but it will be worth it Im pretty sure.

Get on it as soon as you can -- deposit, payments, etc. You'll have a long wait before the action you order gets to you, even if you pay the entire price right away. Spreading the load out thin makes it easier to carry off, too. Get the ball rolling as soon as you can.
