Howdy gents.
Does anybody have a Hardy Ultralight? The webpage notes them as medium fast and I really like medium fast action rods. However, a couple of reviews seem to note that they are more a fast action. I realise that different companies rate their rod actions differently. My TFO LK Legacy fast action doesn't feel much different from my Loop medium fast rods. Has anybody cast a Hardy Ultralight and can comment on how you found it? Fast? Medium fast?
Thanks for all comments.

I had a Hardy Ultralite LL 9'2" 4WT. I would definitely call it a medium fast rather than fast. Other lengths and line weights in the same rod model often have different characteristics though. I really liked it and sold it only because I have a problem.

Thanks BigSky. I bought the rod online as it was AU$600 discounted so no chance to handle it first. Compared to my other medium/fast rods (Loop, TFO, Vision) it is definately faster but I bought a Loop line that is quite a bit over weighted (154gn instead of 120gn for #4 weight) so that has helped soften the action a tad. It's definately easy to cast and after the first few casts of the day I adjust to the feel and then forget about it. Our river season is just about over here so it will get packed away till October now.
