I don't know why i haven't been on this forum before, but haven't. Recently i was talking to a guy in denmark through the campfire about the danish M1Garands that were reimported here after the danes went to another firearm. What i think is interesting is
historically i can trace through my name to Wedel, germany which is part of hamburg today, but in westphalia. Now a few years ago the germans dumped a bunch of really nice P6Sig sauer handguns, police issue, and they ended up here. Holsters included. Some of them were brand new. I get a special charge out of that westphalia marking on the slide. Something probably not easily owned there, but I don't mind owning it.
