Well, a friend has a Predator .223. Had a good trigger right out of the box and the barrel was floated, so I left it in the stock untouched. Broke it in with 20 round of milsurp FMJs poking and stroking, then fired five rounds of a "random" load I made out of his components, fitted to the chambering and throat.
0.327 for five.
"That'll work!" we decided. Still have not taken the action out of the stock yet.
Kind of disappointing, actually, to have a rifle simply shoot out of the box without SOME kind of voodoo juju. He is shooting through all his virgin brass with no problems, when it's all shot up we'll get a "real handload" for it.
