My first hunting dog was a Golden. I was a teenager and didn't have a clue on how to train a dog. Luckily for me she was smarter than me and trained herself. She was a working dog until the very end at 12 years old. She could usually out work dogs that were several years older than her. She was very special! Good luck with your search for a Golden.
