Some may recall that my Mom had a fall recently. The Doctor did a partial hip replacement, and thar went well. Two days later though, she had a heart attack, and could come back from that.
She was 98, and all was just too much for her. We transferred her from the hospital to her home, and entered a home hospice program.
Last night, she passed, and went home to the Lord. I am certain Pop was waiting for her as well.
She was a fine Southern Christian lady. She was a wonderful Mother to the 5 of us, and such a great Grandma to many grand kids, and 11 great grandkids.
Well educated, a talented pianist, tennis player, cook and loved sports. She will be missed.
