The only lever I currently have is the BL-22. I used to have a regular BLR in 308, not takedown.
I think the quality would be great. Don't expect the trigger to be as crisp as most stock bolt guns, or especially a 'tuned' trigger/aftermarket.
Do you plan on scoping it? How do you hunt/ranges? I do like light & handy myself. Most big game hunting comes down to that 1st well placed shot.
Lately I've enjoyed carrying the Browning 'Micro-Hunter', light and easy. The lever does have more to offer with the 'cool' factor.
