I believe the year was 1955 when my parents gave me my choice of a rifle. A model 64 Winchester in 32 special. It,like me is old, warn, and still functioning. Unlike me it functions as well as it did in 1955. It is a great Adirondack deer dumper. Kill number unknown but no question about it's quick kill capability. I never shot it beyond 250 yds. The 170 Hornady does the trick.
