Schmidt & Bender Precision Hunter

Precision Hunter
The name says it all.

The Precision Hunter series is based upon three of our most popular Klassik riflescopes, modified for the hunter who needs to consistently make accurate shots at longer ranges.

These are not tactical or target optics trying to do double duty; they are specifically designed for the hunter and for real-world situations the hunter encounters.

Each is equipped with an externally adjustable targetstyle bullet drop compensating knob, which allows quick adjustments in field without having to remove turret caps. The elevation knob has graduations and numbers that allow you to create a custom distance chart for your preferred caliber. Custom-engraved elevation rings can also be purchased after you have sighted in your rifle and noted point of impact corrections needed for various distances. Contact us for full details.

The P3 Mil-Dot reticle, originally designed for military and tactical use, is standard.

The mil-dots can be used for estimating holdover and precise rangefinding, as well as for windage allowance and for leading moving targets. Some shooters zero their rifle at a specific distance and use the mildots for holdover, never adjusting the elevation turret; others will adust the turret as necessary to its maximum range and shoot dead on, extending the effective range even further by use of the mil-dots. The 4-16 x 50 Precision Hunter has a separate parallax adjustment in a third turret. All have target-style elevation adjustments. Precision Hunter elevation turrets can be added to any Schmidt & Bender Klassik or Zenith hunting scope. Please contact us for details.
