Thanks for everyones comments. I shot traditional all my life and did a partial switch over 20 years ago. Shoulder won't accommodate a hunting weight recurve.
When finger shooting I developed a technique where I'd slowly release the index and ring and use the middle to hold the pin before letting it slide away.
I was very accurate.
I'll look around but I view the release as a strange object that isn't cheap, can break and can be lost. I can remember many pre-sunup mornings when some buddy was frantically looking for his release before we left camp.
Other than an elk hunt in Dec. I'm done for the season and can take my time.
