Was looking at buying a very well kept model 70 featherweight for 600.00 It looks like the stock was cut for a recoil pad. Don't have a clue why this is bothering me but it does. The recoil pad was good back in 1980's but will be replaced with a newer one on the market. I have seen pre 64 lightweights sell for 700 with cut stocks. What do you guys think. I know there is no collectibility to post 64 so maybe I will wait on a pre 64.
