I know this is an argument that will not satisfy the masses but can't VW say we simply designed the vehicle to pass the test as it was administered? we were required to pass a test by the EPA, we did just that. I think they should be left alone and the EPA should change the way it test if it has a problem with it.
if I owned one I can say this no way in hell am I letting it be reflashed. I bet there is a significant reduction in fuel mileage.
