My oldest girl got a spike in front of her at 65 yards and made a perfect shot. I was hunting with my 6 yr old but grandpa and her got it done. Her 3rd deer but first one grandpa got to be with where any of grandkids killed a deer. Not sure which of the 3 of us was more excited but it was an awesome day to be a dad. She made a perfect shot, about 6 inches behind shoulder and exiting in middle of the other shoulder. He was dead right there. I got them a Ruger American compact ranch rifle in 300 blackout with 1-4 scope shooting 130 gr remington hog hammer which is barnes 130 gr tsx bullets. The exit hole was about the size of a quarter.
