As to a criminal trial Ald, the prosecution has the burden of proof ( beyond a reasonable doubt) and is entitled to argue closing first and then to follow up following the summation of the defense. At times, the prosecutor will defer his initial closing to defense counsel and then follow up, but that is an uncommon occurence. Just reverse the above for civil trials Ald.
