I have a Williams on my Mod. 94 in .356 and an old Lyman that came with my Mod 64 in 30-30. Both do the job well.
The Mod 94 is angle eject and the 64 was made in 1950 so of course is not. Not a problem either way from my experience.
Another option is Skinner sights. I have one on my 9422. For the 94 pre angle eject the website does say it requires 2 6-48 holes be drilled and tapped. I don't know if I would want to do that to an old Winchester, but it is an option.
