Have been struggling to find a detachable set of rings/bases for
22 Hornet, Winchester model 70, manufactured 1947 with factory d&t, .860in spacing. Sr no 74xxx.

Scope is a Leupold FX-II 4x33mm.

I have been told I would need front (rear facing) extended rings/base for this setup.

Would these bases from Midway be suitable?

Talley base - model 70, 0.860in, std action

Unfortunately no response to emails to Talley.
