Jeeze, I guess I know I have half or some timers now! I did not realize we had 2 model 100 threads going, try PB blaster or better yet Kroil, it can be bad on the wood SOO to be on safe side, do yourself a big favor and visit a REAL gunsmith!!! Many POO POO the 100, I love mine BUT I have zeroed others that had the worse triggers Ive ever seen, I was lucky! I liked mine so well I talked my FIL into buying a model 490,A few years later he gave me the 490, the model 100's baby brother in .22LR ( they were put together in Canada ! go figure that one), I love that gun as well but have yet to find a gunsmith that can do anything with the grunt er trigger! I had to reach way back but I out-shot a guy with a tricked out 10-22 with my 490....fantastic barrel on mine but the trigger is a $hit sandwich! the very best WinPoor
