Wasn't too scientific on my 375 on finding the "best" seating depth.... I looked at the Barnes load data, and matched their recommended coal, after making sure that it wasn't too long for the magazine or chamber... it just worked right away, so didn't play with it.
note: on my 30-06, I did have to work up a 55-thousands jump, as too-close-to-the-lands didn't work at all on it's 168g TTSX.
Just got lucky on the 375 depth, I guess.
