Did Leica mention any improvements to their US warranty? Their riflescopes seem to have a lot of bang for the buck. But honestly, I can't see myself buying one because of their warranty. I can't help but think that its hurting some of their sales trying to establish a foothold in the scope market.

It is my pleasure to write these reports and share my experiances at the show with the members. I guess some of my teachers would be thrilled that i actually paid some attention in school and learned to somewhat write a review/report.

Leica and I had a long meeting about customer service, warranty issues and the like. I feel they will be showing (the proof is in action not words) how improved they will be in this area.

It's great to hear them acknowledge they have a weakness and want to improve. Competing in the US market will require a long term commitment to a consumer friendly warranty. Companies like Leupold and Swarovski didn't get their reputation for industry standard setting CS over night. They earned it and the marketplace's confidence over the long haul.
