I used the 260 AB on elk here in the states and on kudu, waterbuck, oryx, eland and (gasp!) impala in Namibia. All of the African game were taken with one-shot kills and only two bullets were recovered. The eland was the farthest shot--a little over 300 meters.

One large bull elk in Colorado stood around long enough to take a second round, but either would have been fatal alone. The other two bulls that I took with it went down before I could chamber and fire another round.

The 260 AB would be my bullet of choice for big game in North America in a .375 H&H, but I confess that I no longer own one.
