For a 200 dollar scope, it's sturdy and dependable. Mine has even slipped & fell 3-4 times, while setting it against a tree to pee and it's never left zero. Throws a little more light at dusk and dawn too.

It's the next step-up from a Nikon Prostaff and I've had the Prostaff on my REM 7400 .270 for 12-13 years, before crapping out from being bounced around too much. That one I paid only $129 for it.

I don't understand paying $400 for an old-schol-type scope for deer hunting..... not during legal hunting hours anyways. I can adjust to various circles and dots that different manufacturers use. The more expensive 400 dollar models crap-out too, from being bounced around.
