More reasons to like the boring chamberings
OTOH, while shelves were bare of stuff like 308 Winchester, 7 Rem Mag, and 223 ammo, there were (and still are) the same boxes of 225 Winchester ammo sitting there. You need to choose which obsolete stuff you want. Heck, 20 years ago the 22 Hornet and 218 Bee were pretty much in company with the 225.
