I just got a FAT wrench and I wanted to know what the proper torque settings are for action screws on a Remington 700 BDL? Also on an ADL what about the small middle screw? I use synthetics stocks like McMillan, Brown & Hi-Tech. I have just always just hand tightened in the past, but would like to know how it supposed to be done?
The small middle screw, tighten just enough to secure the front of the trigger guard. No more.
You can create problems cranking down on that screw.
