What really seems to matter is the other end of the round: consistent bullet diameter and alignment. Which is the same in centerfire ammunition--the front is the steering end.

The really meaningful test is to shoot different ammo and see how it groups.


I bought a .22 resizer/hollow pointer tool off D-rock on RFC and was really impressed at the results. All ammo grouped better but some had very dramatic improvement.
