Its going to be really hard to get detach antlers done well at this point.
But I was just gonna say, I"ll never do anything big again without... even caribou.
Working on mounting my moose and it took a number of hours of messing around to get the detach antlers done. Finally finished that last night so I can move on with mounting next weekend.
The are never going to be super tight but the ability to move the head through doors and such is worth it.
Originally I thought the hide was so nice and the bull was big bodied, if I ever killed another that was bigger, I"d just cut the antlers off and swap em to the old mount... I don't see that being all that possible in hindsight, but one could try anything once.
Nice mounts all around.
We don't have a single wall over 8 feet and never will likely.
Moose gonna look funny hanging low and all, but we are ok with it.
