I've read firearms mags since I bought a G and A about1963.
Read or subscribed to them all thru the years. I never heard the name Dave Scoville until I subscribed to Rifle a few years ago. He claims to be the idea man behind Hawk and the triple shock bullet. However, the only time I've seen his name in print was when he wrote it.
I could be wrong but from his writing I get the impression of a curmudgeon, hard to get along with and self impressed. He wrote two articles belittling Jack O'Connor, one titled "Who is Jack O'Connor?" My question was who the hell are you?
