Rory, not arguing, but I an had an 1896 Mauser Broomhandle, model 30 commercial, in 30 Mauser that was sleeved.
There have been gunsmiths that would resleeve 30-30 class cartridges, but last I was able to find out they all had stopped. If you come up with the name of somebody still doing it, share the name here please.
