Yep. There are two ways companies order products made by another "vendor": They can take whatever product the vendor makes, with their name on the outside, or they can specify price-point and what features they want.

Most Americans assume anything made outside of the U.S., Germany and Japan is going to be cheap junk. (They used to feel the same way about Japanese products, until Japan started dominating the camera and car markets.) But in general, if a U.S. company uses a vendor outside of those three countries, then they're looking to sell products here for what customers would consider a "good deal." So they often order to a lower price-point, but that doesn't mean the vendor can't make good products.
