I have a '47 BRNO 21 F in 8x57S. The sights are factory and it is almost like new! Save a few dings in the stock, all the metal is pristine. I have shot Norma factory 156 gr. & 196 gr. bullets and the heavy bullet shoots 12" high at 100 yards the 156 gr. shoots 18" high and 100 yards! My question are these rifles from that time frame post war 2 years, did the use heavier bullets or something not loaded so hot. The sights are still on the witness marks both front & rear. Love this rifle and want to shoot it with the open sights, it has fixed 100Y/M? and a flip up 200Y/M? Any help would give me an idea if I need a taller front sight! Thanks, Otis!
