Home Forums Hunting & Shooting Predators and Varmints Rechamber my 17FB to 17REM without setting back my barrel?

Have a remington 700 SPSV in 17FB I also have put it in a HS stock that I put PTG bottom on with AI 223 mags. If I have it rechambered to 17REM will I have to have the barrel set back? I assume the AI mags will function without a hickup after the rechamber? My plan is to put a 223 barrel on it, But why not try and have some fun with the factory barrel first.
