Ed, I used and use this scope for my buffalo and other future hunts... good lighting conditions. I upgraded mine to the 30mm Ill reticle option, but I have to tell you IT SUCKS in low light. I experimented with it a lot down here hog hunting at our lease in south Georgia and you basically give up at least 20 minutes of hunting at dawn or dusk. Great scope, but not for low light conditions. J
