the nominal bullet diameter is .287

back when, I had one that was inaccurate with any .284 bullets but shot a heavy .287 gas check quite well (2"@100 with iron sights)

The M-10 bolt could, with great effort, be assembled incorrectly so that the interrupted thread bolt head would not rotate and lock.
