This one joined the stable today. It came into the shop on trade and I couldn't pass it up. Until now, my only .410s have been a Stevens 94 single barrel and a Savage 24 .22LR/.410. I had been thinking about a nicer .410 for awhile anyway since a couple of buddies and I have made a quail "hunt" an annual thing for the last couple years. I've mostly used 28s and a short barreled 20 but had thought a .410 might be fun. Anyway, this one seemed to come at the right time so I didn't ponder too long. Looks to have seen VERY little use. It's a Modified, which should be perfect for doves. If I shoot it well enough, I might consider sending the barrel to Briley for tubes because I'd rather have a Full for squirrels and something between Skeet and IC for released quail.
