Rock Chuck;
Good evening to you sir, I trust this finds you well and keeping cool enough.

I'm totally out of the loop as far as what the Episcopal folks believe anymore and how they run their denomination or individual churches.

As a former board member, church member and long time adherent of the evangelical church we've been attending for 35 odd years I can assure you that if any of the pastoral staff did that with the discretionary funds they'd be lucky to remain employed there.

Honestly we try our best to stay out of political issues in our denomination - admittedly making for some interesting moments as there's folks from both sides of the spectrum worshiping there.

One time in particular I recall a car in the parking lot with some sort of anti-trapping bumper sticker which was parked a car or two away from a local trapper. wink

Anyway from here its tough for me to say why this chap chose to take money which should have been earmarked for folks in need and instead used it for what might be termed "gambling" by some folks....

All the best to you folks for the remainder of the summer Rock Chuck.

Dwayne
