It is a nice rifle in all respects. It actually shows better workmanship than the JM stainless I have. It is new and never been shot unless the factory test fired it. I like the rifle but these 45-70's are tools to me and I just can't justify a blued gun in the way I use them. My older Stainless gun shows a lot of hard use.
