I have 7 of them, but have started buying the 40 mm after reading JB's article about scope brightness. I took a 40 mm and a 50mm to the stand last year. He was right, I couldn't see any better out of the 50mm as it got dark. I could see just as long after legal shooting hours with the 40mm. Save a few bucks, buy the 40mm.
