Not a turnbolt, but rebarreling a nice Browning Low Wall (not one of the current Winchesters with the yellow pine stocks) wouldn't suck either. Most of the early ones have great wood and go for $1200-$1500, not much more than what a stock alone of similar quality would run. A little rework on the checkering to remove the borders would really class one up.

This is my Hornet. The wood is about average for models of the same vintage. Some are much nicer.
