I bought a 20ft 1989 Fleetwood Prowler Lynx to deer hunt out of.
I also bought a Generator ,

I am also going to buy a 30 Amp extension cord,either a 25ft or 50ft

My question is with the running watts being 3500 and the starting Watts being 4000 will an extension cord rated at 3750 Watts be enough ??

On the one hand I have read that Amps x Volts = Watts
So 12 Volts x 30 Amps =3600 Watts Max draw by the generator and Camper(30 AMP System) Right ?

On the other hand the Generator has 4000 starting Watts.

As you can tell I know absolutely nothing about Electricity .
