Others rifles often outshoot the Rugers and for less money, but I just like them. They're plenty accurate for hunting and are the only "nice" .22 available in SS, unless you include the T-bolts, which aren't to my taste. A SS 77/22 in a walnut stock makes for a handsome package, I think, even the regular ( non-RSI) models.
